My dear, sweet, beautiful wife of 46 years.  

After a courageous 7 month battle, Melanie Schweikhardt peacefully walked into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on March 30, 2023.  Her enemy,  Primary Peritoneal cancer.

God blessed our family with two beautiful daughters and 6 precious grandchildren.  

Melanie loved  nature,  especially flowers.  Her passion was transformed clearly in her well defined original creations of watercolor paintings.  

As a self taught artist, Melanie began painting around 10 years ago.  She created nearly 100 designs.  Plans are to share additional designs as soon as possible.   

She was, shall I say, a bit shy about sharing her artwork with the public.  However, now as one of her last requests, we have launched Melanie's Original Watercolors.   Our objective is to produce greeting cards to showcase her beautiful original watercolor art, as a means to make contributions for Primary Peritoneal Cancer research.  Her words, “let’s help fund research.  Maybe someday there will be a cure to survive this terminal cancer.”  

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help fund further research.
